1-½ pound Ground Beef
¾ cups Oats
1 cup Milk
3 Tablespoons Very Finely Minced Onion
1-½ teaspoon Salt
Plenty Of Ground Black Pepper, to taste
1 cup All-Purpose Flour (coating For Frozen Meatballs)
Canola Oil
1 cup Ketchup
2 Tablespoons Sugar
3 Tablespoons Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
4 Tablespoons (to 6 Tablespoons) Onion
1 dash Tabasco
Time to get dirty, use hands to mix all ingredients together.
Use a tablespoon to scoop meat and form into uniform balls. And stick in freezer for a few minutes to make the meatballs easier to work with when rolling in flour later.
In a bowl add ketchup, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, and minced onion.
And mix well.
Preheat oven to 350. On a plate add some flour then some meatballs and roll in flour.
When all are coated add some oil to a skillet and heat.
When heated add 1/3 of the meatballs and cook for about 2 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides.
We are just trying to lightly brown them not cook them thoroughly
Now add to a casserole dish.
Top with the ketchup mix and spread evenly over meatballs and bake for 45 minutes.
Yummy, plate about 5 meatballs and Enjoy.
Delicious!
